  • Description text goes hereThe chemical process of breaking the disulpide bonds within the lash is damaging to the lash if not performed correctly. Over processing the time on the lashes means the bonds are either not able to be reformed well enough or they break so far that they over-process. Applying the lotion to the ends of the lashes (which is not the area we want the re-direction of the lash to occur) can also cause damage to the lashes. The inclusion of lanolin in the lifting lotion offers moisture and nourishment to the lash while the bonds are being broken in order to soften the hair and provide support.

  • Most reactions to lash extensions adhesives is caused by contact with the skin and through a build-up of exposure to Cyanoacrylate (the ingredient found in all lash extensions adhesives). Elleebana’s Lash Lifting products and adhesives don’t contain cyanoacrylate so the chance of a reaction to lash lifting will be slim however a patch test is the best way to determine if a client might have sensitivities.

  • A lash lift creates permanently curled lashes, but the results last 6-8 weeks. Why? In about 8 weeks, your curled adult lashes will grow old and fall out. New baby lashes will peak through and return back to your natural state.

  • For the first 24 hours, use cold water to clean the eye area. After that, you can take hot showers, go to the sauna, and your lashes will be fine!

  • Please consult your doctor if it is safe for you to get a lash lift and lay on your back or side for over an hour. Experts do not recommend pregnant women to lay on their backs during the second and third trimesters because the back position rests the entire weight of the growing uterus and baby on your intestines and vena cava (the main vein that carries blood back to the heart from your lower body).
